Criswell Park is a Community Park located just 3 miles south of Monroe, turn right on Criswell Rd. off of Hwy 11, Park is about 3/10 of a mile on right. This 34.9 acre park boasts the Johnny Owens Youth Sports Complex, housing baseball and softball fields, a paved walking trail, a playground area with recycled plastic play equipment, support buildings (concessions, restrooms, maintenance), along with some additional open space and passive areas. It adjoins the Ag-Center property, in combination with which serves as the host site for the Monroe Crepe Myrtle Festival each spring. The park is the main complex for youth baseball and softball in the Monroe and surrounding area.

1 playground area with 2 to 5 and 5 to 12 age equipment . 1 maintenance barn
1 paved parking area with 149 spaces, 6 handicap and 70 grass area parking spaces
for overflow parking.
